Hello, if you are wondering where my site has gone I decided it was time to move on. But if you know me and you know where I live you could always send me a Birthday or Christmas present, cards are optional, but after all it's the thought that counts. So below are a small selection of my current desires and also the things I already have which might help you work out what kind of things I'm interested in. Thanks for visiting.

If you came here to actually look at my daughter's family tree, then click "here" to see it - but remember it's in limbo right now and needs some work done on it.

If however you are actually interested in little tidbits of my life, go here to find out what's going on in it right now.

TTFN.

Hi fellow present buyers.

Below is what was there last year and the years before. I have just kept it for posterity.

This year, 2017, the topic is a chocolate bar. Well actually it's been a chocolate bar for quite a while. I also had a subject at school which was just called, "Topic."

School, that seems so long ago. But as I'm getting older I am trying to learn it's the thought that counts. Anything is appreciated. I can always find a use for something. Money is nice but it shows little thought, sometimes, not every time. But it's better than giftcards which expire in 2 years and still show the value of your love. But then again, most presents I buy for people have the price on them - so unless you use a black marker (and then you can't really return it if it's something they have) they will know just how much you are worth to them.

But Love is priceless, so that's a whole other ball game.

So if this is 2018, 2019, or 2057, as long as there's thought, I will appreciate it. Even money and giftcards, I just try not to give them myself.

Thanks for reading.

This year, 2012, the topic is Glee.

Unfortunately Sky 1 got the UK exclusive rights to the 3rd season, and so I have to wait till it comes out on silver disc, THE DAY AFTER MY BIRTHDAY, otherwise I would have loved that for my birthday.

What I don't have, well it would be easy to tell you what I do have.

I have Glee Season 1 on DVD (Though on Blu-Ray, and I have a Blu-Ray player, you also get a Visual Commentary with Cast and Crew). I did read somewhere that the North American Blu-Ray version plays on UK players, usually they're region locked. Why am I interested in that? Simply the UK version didn't come with any Sue's Corners. (NOTE: I have just, for many reasons, ordered myself Glee Season 1 on BluRay from amazon.com, so I will get all the extras that this provides) Sorry if you have already purchased this for me, I will be happy to return it, for changing my mind so near the big day.

I also have all the Glee music (that they released as albums) from Seasons 1 and 2. (None from Season 3, I wanted to wait until I had seen it.)

I have Glee : Music from the fox television show songbook and also the Season 2 Volume 5 songbook. (So Volume 1,2,3,4, Journey to Regionals, Best of Season 1, Volume 6, The Warblers - songbooks) - Just if you weren't aware a songbook is the sheet music book, piano/vocal/guitar, NOT easy piano. I made that mistake before, Amazon doesn't always list their products completely and I only found it out by clicking on the product image to make it bigger. The first book I mentioned that I have is probably very similar to Glee Volume 1, so maybe the best of season 1 would be a better buy.

Other things that I might be interested in are Series 2 of the new Doctor Who and the specials (the last year of David Tennant). The latter comes on Blu-Ray and that would be much better than having it on DVD. Blu-Rays probably have little over DVDs for most people, but I have very few still so any would help.

I forgot to mention there's also a Glee 3D movie, which I've never seen. I do have a 3D Blu-Ray player, just not a 3D Television but I've always told myself if something's available in 3D then buy the 3D version because then it will give you a reason to upgrade. I also don't have the soundtrack to that. I'm sure it's different but I have spent enough of my own money on Glee music, which is mostly mildly amusing covers.

To further complete my Beatles collection there are still the first four albums, remastered in stereo which I never bought as I never had them in stereo. Also there's the new Yellow Submarine film on Blu-Ray, well not new, it's the old one, but it's been visually-improved again. I have the DVD release from 1999 and although it would be a Blu-Ray it would be nice to see the visual differences, if any.

I do have a 3DS and I have plenty of games already, so I've stopped buying any, so any that have come out since June 2012 I shouldn't have. Hint : Super Mario Bros. 2.

But there's always a surprise, which is nice. I have plenty of things, and at some point in my life they do all become useful so nothing's ever wasted.

Thanks for reading.

LAST YEAR

I have lots of Doctor Who DVDs, mostly copied from videos either pre-recorded or other, however I have interest in but haven't purchased yet Series 1 of the New Doctor Who - that one with Chris Ecclescake or The Key To Time series, which is cheap but has wobbly sets.

Another thing that peaks my interest currently is Knight Rider, either the old series (4 seasons, cheaper to buy them separately) or the new series, it only lasted one year but from what I hear there's going to be a film soon. Bionic Woman was pretty good too.

The dye went funny on some of these scratchproof DVDs, which means I am on the look for dyeproof DVDs but that affected some of my Smallville collection though buying all ten seasons does cost a lot, about twice as much as Friends which is another one of my desires - I only have Season 4 on DVD and you don't get any extras on it.

There's also the Beatles. I have every feature film and a lot of the music but something I've never bought myself was the first four albums in stereo, I always had them as mono. Are they worth it and I have the old red and blue albums but not remastered but if you have the proper albums I don't think you really need them. Such a shame about the promised Yellow Submarine film.

Glee....I have Season 1 on DVD but Season 2 will come out soon, which had it's good bits but having recently got myself a Blu-Ray player....well it's available, if you get the whole Season, on Blu-Ray so maybe that makes it better - I've already bought all the CDs. Currently wondering whether I should go see Glee the 3D Concert Film, not sure if it would be a waste of twelve pounds or not.

I also found myself with a Wii and have bought a few things for it, Mario Kart, Pool Party, Wii Sports (+ Resort), We Sing, We Sing Encore, U Sing 2, Beatles Rock Band, Need For Speed : Hot Pursuit, X-Factor, HSM Senior Year Sing It, Racket Sports Party, Your Shape, NBA 2k10, Goldeneye and Wii Play Motion. All great games, Mario Kart gets frustrating at times but I wish they would release Dragon's Lair Trilogy over here but I have my eye on the Dragon's Lair Blu-Ray, as it's just like a DVDi game really and Blu-Rays are reckoned to be better.

Now if none of those things gave you ideas this is a list of some things that I have, not that I think possessions are more important than people - possessions can't make themselves. In addition to the above, I have a Rubik's Cube, Rubik's Magic, Magic 8 Ball, a dining table, two Logitech USB microphones (those Beatles guitar controllers look really nice), CDs, DVDs, only a few Blu-Rays (Wizard of Oz, High School Musical 1-3, Star Trek XI, The Dark Knight, Doctor Who Series 5 Volume 1, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Casino Royale, the first Lord Of The Rings - that's it), Windows 7, an external 1TB hard drive and books.

If that doesn't help just get me a card, the fact you remembered means more than adding to my over-crowded flat. Though I am getting a 3DS for my birthday, that much I know already, and it's a bit useless without games. You may be wondering which ones catch my eye, even though there's a week to go to the main event. Well Asphalt 3D and Sports Island 3D are two but there are others though I'm not sure they're out yet, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land and Tekken 3D Prime edition. Christmas maybe?

Well the grand event is over now, I'm 36 and everything. Had a great day, some great cards and presents. Day of the Daleks with the new effects are awesome, didn't even realise some scenes were reshot although Nicholas Briggs doing the Dalek voices makes it sound a bit too much like Russell T. Davies interesting interpretation of Doctor Who.

Been playing Asphalt 3D, just need to work out how to unlock some stuff. Also have ordered Sports Island 3D, thought about The Sims 3, but it's a cutdown version of the one for the P.C. and I've read you can't have kids - isn't that what life is all about?

There are other titles for the 3DS I am keeping my eyes out for, not released yet. Tekken 3D, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 and Frogger 3D. Maybe F1 12, or whatever it's called. Well there's always Christmas.

There is...and it's rapidly approaching. I don't know who knows about this site, but until I work out what to do here, this page will get longer and longer. Yes the family tree needs some work and the photos of my daughter are quite old but there are lots of other things I have to do, like pay bills.

What do I want for Christmas, I'm just going to make this longer and longer, and not delete what's gone before - you can always read through it for reference purposes. For Christmas, I still don't have Duke Nukem Forever for the PC or Dragon's Lair on Blu-Ray. I haven't bought myself any more Blu-Rays. I have bought myself a couple of Wii games, We Sing Robbie Williams and We Sing Rock so the only one I don't have is We Sing UK. Books, I have too many but reference books can always be interesting. I need a new coat. I bought myself Mario Kart 7, I just had to have it, but I've only got that, The Sims 3, Sports Island and Asphalt for the 3DS. Also got Puzzler World 2011 (DS). Maybe waiting for Puzzler World 2012. Puzzler Mind Gym 3D looks fun. Tekken isn't out till February I think. Then there's Glee. I don't have Sky so can't watch the episodes, so haven't bought any of the CDs yet - their new Christmas album looks good (Volume 2), and I won't be getting Glee The Music Volume 7 when it comes out in a couple of days (want to wait to watch the series first), I didn't go to the cinema to see Glee The Concert 3D, or whatever it was called, only saw the trailer, never bought the soundtrack for that. I still haven't got Glee Season 2 on Blu-Ray or put my recordings of episodes onto DVD, or got the Glee app (but that's because I don't have an iPhone or iPad or iPod touch.)

So Duke Nukem Forever, Dragon's Lair, 3DS, Wii, Reference books, Glee, Doctor Who, A coat/jacket, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Blu-Rays.

If you still can't decide I'll take money, gift vouchers, or anything else as long as you thought about it a little.

Thanks for the consideration.
